An AI practice judge for competitive events
Practice the part of competition that’s hardest to rehearse alone. The AI judge runs the round on the event’s clock, plays its role, asks follow-up questions and scores you on the event’s rating sheet.
Which events can you practice with the AI judge?
Role-plays and case studies
DECA principles, Individual Series, Team Decision Making and Personal Financial Literacy, and FBLA role play events. DECA role-play practice · FBLA role play practice
Presentations
DECA prepared events, FBLA presentation events, HOSA speaking and team events, and TSA presentations, with questions after you present.
Interviews
Interview events and project interviews, where the judge keeps asking about you or your project.
Model UN committees
An AI chair and AI delegations run a practice session: your opening speech, a moderated caucus, a point of information and a call for co-sponsors. Model UN practice
How does an AI-judged practice round work?
- The event’s own clock: prep, setup, presentation and questions timed per event, with an automatic stop at the limit, or a relaxed mode with no stop.
- The judge plays its part: a business executive in DECA, the client or manager in FBLA role plays, a judge who asks about your work in presentations and interviews.
- Questions like the real ones: DECA judges ask two follow-up questions after you finish and never interrupt; FBLA role play judges may ask as you go.
- A score on the event’s rating sheet: each row with its points and why, the lines from your answer that earned them, and your most valuable fixes.
- Out loud or typed: talk to the face-to-face judge, or type your answers.
Is the AI judge an official judge?
The AI judge is a practice partner, not an official judge. Its scenarios are original, it can make mistakes, and real judges differ. CompPrep AI isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by DECA, FBLA, HOSA, TSA or any Model UN conference.
Questions
Is the AI judge’s score official?
No. It’s practice feedback written by AI, and it can be wrong. It follows each event’s rating sheet so you can see where points go, but only real judges give official scores.
Which events can it judge?
Role-plays and case studies (DECA and FBLA), presentations (prepared events, FBLA presentation events, HOSA speaking events and TSA presentations), interviews, and Model UN committee sessions with an AI chair.
Does it work by voice?
Yes. The face-to-face judge listens through your microphone in the browser and asks its questions out loud. You can always type instead.
What happens to what I say?
Your answers are used to run the round and score it. AI requests don’t include your name or email, and student work is never used to train AI. See the privacy policy.
How many sessions do I get?
One AI judge session a day on the free plan and five a day with Pro. A chapter plan gives every member Pro.
