Delete Your Account and Data

This page is linked from the app stores so anyone can request deletion, even without the app.

In the app (fastest)

1. Open CompPrep AI and go to Profile.
2. Tap Delete my account, then confirm.

Your account is deleted immediately.

By email

Can't open the app, or you're a parent or guardian? Email privacy@compprep.app with the subject Delete my data and the email address used to sign in. We'll confirm the request is genuine (for a parent, we'll verify you're the guardian) and delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What gets deleted

• Your profile: name, grade, school, contact email
• Your chapter memberships and roles
• Your practice history, scores, and transcripts
• Your sign-in record

What's kept, and why

• Backups are overwritten within 30 days.
• Chapter audit logs keep entries like "role changed," with your user ID removed.
• Invoices for chapter or school plans are kept 7 years for tax law. These belong to the buyer (an adult or school), never a student.
